Swarm moving into a bait hive. This was around 9.30 am. The second swarm to come into this one this season. A wooden five frame nuc with two old frames of comb in it. I’d recently removed the first swarm as was about to re site it. Didn’t need to as they like it right there next to the pipe vice.

Look closely at the #bees clustered in the #swarm and you’ll see that most of them are young and fluffy. Many will not have ventured far from the hive, but now they’re off to find a new home. The third photo shows the majority of the swarm left the new hive, but without the #queen and so returned but to a different hive. What happens when they’ve not established their new home yet. I’ll move them back soon
